The second teaching seminar of Electronic and Electrical Engineering Programme (EE) for Semester 2 of academic year 2022-2023 was held in X30522 on June 19. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Huang Deqing, Deputy Director of EE. More than 20 module co-leaders attended the seminar.
Professor Luo Dabing from the Mechanical Engineering Programme shared, at the seminar’s invitation, his teaching of "Exploration of Project-based Practical Teaching in Mechanical Fundamentals." With real cases, Prof. Luo detailed the teaching model of integrating mechanical design featuring blended learning with CDIO project-based practice.
Li Jikun and Guo Yujun, winners of the Joint School’s "Most Popular Teachers", and Fang Yan，an nominee, expressed their gratitudeto their students and the Joint School.
The seminar discussed about the feedback from the 2023 graduates. Huang Deqing emphasized careful attention should be given to the issues raised and suggestions put forward by the students. CPD training and English language training plans, as well as laboratory development, were also discussed.
The seminar concluded with presenting commemorative gifts to the two retiring teachers Li Chunmao and Zhuang Shengxian for their outstanding contributions to EE and the Joint School.
